Pancake supper changes date
With the current resurgence here of COVID-19 in Lamesa – along with flu, strep and other illnesses – the Lamesa Service Club has opted to postpone Lamesa’s big annual pancake supper.
Gardening programs continue
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office here on Monday will be be presenting the third session in a six-part series of gardening programs.

Faye Evelyn Kidd, 93, of Lamesa found rest in the Presence of Jesus Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.

Funeral service for Thomas “Tom” Bert Bailey, 73, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Faith Temple Church in Lamesa with Doug Spurlock officiating.
Ag conference set Thursday
The annual South Mesa Ag Conference is scheduled for Thursday morning at the LeeRoy Colgan community building at 901 S. Houston Street.
