Faye was born on August 11, 1928, in Alcoa, Tennessee to the late Glen and Elsie McCulloch.
She met the love of her life, Samuel Vernon Kidd, when he was sent to Tennessee during WWII. They married on August 11, 1946, and moved to Lamesa, TX where they built a life of love, family, and faith for more than 72 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Samuel Vernon Kidd, and a brother, Rex McCulloch.
Faye is survived by her children: Wayland Kidd and wife, Dagmar of Spring, TX; Nancy Baggett and husband, Kelly of Lubbock; three grandchildren: Aaron Baggett and wife, Lisa of Belton, Abby Hulin and husband Joshua of Odessa, and Adriene Simpson and husband Bryan of Lubbock.
