One man was taken to a burn center in Lubbock after Lamesa firefighters responded to a house fire here about 8:20 p.m. Thursday.
Although still at a relatively low level here, Dawson County is seeing a resurgence in COVID-19 cases like much of the rest of the nation is experiencing.

A former O’Donnell student who was expected to return to the school this fall apparently was an unintended victim of a shooting incident in San Antonio early this past week.
