One man was taken to a burn center in Lubbock after Lamesa firefighters responded to a house fire here about 8:20 p.m. Thursday. Firefighters called for an ambulance shortly after arriving at the location in the 1200 block of N. 4th St. Firefighter Jason Wiley said a man, believed to be the owner of the house, was taken by ambulance to the burn center at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
