Although still at a relatively low level here, Dawson County is seeing a resurgence in COVID-19 cases like much of the rest of the nation is experiencing. A report issued Friday evening by the South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) shows two new cases reported here, with five active cases currently in Dawson County.
