Second Baptist Church’s congregation is marking a milestone in the church’s history Sunday as they honor its 75th anniversary.
Monday: Corn dog, calico corn, green & gold beans and desserts
Tuesday: Sliced beef with green peppers in gravy, mashed potatoes, beets and dessert
Monday: Soft chicken tacos, shredded lettuce & diced tomatoes, Spanish rice, tortilla chips/salsa and dessert
Breakfast: Muffin, juice, milk Lunch: Chicken sandwich, fresh veggie, fruit, milk

Thelda “Whiz” and J.O. “Bo” Creighton are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, along with Bo’s 80th birthday, with a reception in Paris, Texas.
Dal Paso Museum offi cials here are seeking help identifying the sets of twins in the Lamesa school system who are shown in this photo taken in 1949. Ophelia Wynelle Robinson Hobson recently gave the museum her copy of the photograph, which includes her twin brothers, Wesley and Leslie Robinson, at the far left on the front row. Anyone who can identify others shown in the photo are asked to send that information to the museum board at P.O. Box 1445, Lamesa, TX 79331. Those providing information are asked to state where the named individuals are located in the photograph, and list their year of birth or graduation, if known.
