Dawson Dragon athletes finished among the leaders in their invitational track meet the Sam Adams Invitational held last Friday at McCaulley Stadium at Welch.Dawson’s Roman Trevino won the high sdchool boys’ po;e vault after clearing 8-6.The Dragons won the high school girls’ 1,600-meter relay with a time of 5:26.51 with the team of Brianna Rosales, Miley Howard, Layla Meza and Ani Gonzales.Rosales also won the high school girls’ pole vault after clearing seven feet.This Dawson meet was called the Sam Adams Rellays in honor of the Dragons’ great Hall-of-Fame Coach who was the first coach inducted into the Texas Six-Man ...
