SHS take their One Act Play to Area competition
Sands High School (SHS) drama students captured the bi-district champion title and a perfect score last week with their One Act Play, “ They Promised Her the Moon” during University Interscholastic League (UIL) competitions.

DRINKING HABITS
Lamesa Community Players’ cast and crew are hard at work on their next production, “Drinking Habits.” The production features (left to right) Terry Bond, Stephen Mc-Adams, Naomi Presley, Mori Valenzuela, Corban Butters, Noemi Mojica, Mary Benton, Karlissa McMurtray, Treagan Kendrick and Rebecca Mince. “Drinking Habits” is a farce about the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing who make wine, on the sly, to keep their convent afloat. Its twists and turns are guaranteed to keep you laughing. The show’s dates and times are at 7 p.m., April 11-13 and April 19-20; with a 2 p.m. matinee April 21.
