Overeynder is new city manager
Sean Overeynder had the word interim removed from his title Tuesday evening as the Lamesa City Council voted 5-2 to name him the new city manager.
DAILY CLEANING
Due to the COVID-19 situation, city employees are working daily to disinfect all playgrounds, picnic tables and other facilities in all city parks. After using a pump-sprayer to spray disinfectant on the playground at the Skate Park at South 1st St. and Akron Ave., Rigo Iglesias uses a power washer Wednesday morning to rinse the equipment.
Covid confirmations at 14
With the addition of one more case announced Monday afternoon, Dawson County officially has had 14 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus.
