During their regular meeting Tuesday the Dawson County Commissioners Court agreed to purchase a fiveacre tract of land from the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC). LEDC members last week agreed to offer the land, located just east of Lamesa on the south side of FM 827, to the county at a price of $2,500 per acre.
