Former LHS student escapes Ukraine
One day Sofia Sukach, 19, was your typical college student studying journalism in Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine. The next day, bombs were exploding and shots were being fired in her country as Russian troops invaded the nation.

About 600 all-you-can-eat meals of pancakes, sausage and bacon were served during a three-hour period.
