Junior Rojas (right), a certified chef from Lamesa who currently cooks for a rehabilitation facility in Midland, not only won a skillet and top bragging rights but also pocketed $600 as the winner of the Chicken Fried Steak Cookoff as part of Lamesa’s 12th Chicken Fried Steak Festival this past weekend.
