Permits for 20 new water wells drilled in various areas of the county were approved by directors of the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District during their regular meeting Wednesday morning.
A possible change in the city’s building regulations and a discussion about the city’s animal control facility will be among the business facing Lamesa city council members during their regular meeting on Tuesday.

Is your child interested in things that other children his/her age are not usually interested in? Lamesa school officials are indicating that parents or guardians who see such traits in their child may want to refer that child to be tested for participation in the school’s Gifted and Talented (G/T) Program.
