Next weekend will be a busy weekend of hoop action with a youth tournament being played next Saturday at the new Lamesa High School Gym.The tournament will feature next year’s top sophomores, juniors and seniors as well as last season’s graduating seniors.The tournament will feature players from the 806, 432 and 325 area codes.“It sounds like we’re going to have some really good players out for this tournament,” said local basketball league organizer Isaiah Martinez.One of the top players planning on being here that weekend is Lubbock Monterey point guard Aaliyah Chavez.
