The Golden Tornadoes’ baseball squad put together perhaps its best performance of the season here Tuesday night against the Levelland Loboes. Unfortunately it just wasn’t quite enough as the Loboes ended up holding on in a 7-5 nailbiter. That game, however, needed two extra innings before the outcome was determined. The score was all tied at 4-all at the end of the regulation seven innings. After a scoreless eighth inning, Levelland broke the tie with three runs in the top half of the ninth.
