The Golden Tornadoes’ red-hot softball squad will be looking to take their second step in the playoffs this weekend against the Abernathy Antelopes.The Lamesa girls have outscored their last two opponents (Denver City and Anthony) by a combined run margin of 37-0.Since falling to District 2-3A champion Idalou, the Antelopes have a two-game win streak of their own, including a 25-5 bi-district win over Dalhart.“Everybody who’s in the playoffs, especially in the second round, is supposed to be there.
