After beating Friona by 14 here last month the Golden Tor basketball girls were hoping to complete a season’s sweep of the Chieftains Friday night in Parmer County.But Friona’s girls had different ideas. Big secondand third-quarter rallies helped the Chieftains hold off Lamesa, 49-45.Adding to Friday’s frustration for the Golden Tor girls was the fact it was one for Friona’s history books.“We’re their first district win in a couple of years.
