The Golden Tornado basketball girls learned a costly lesson Tuesday evening at Midland where a big fourth quarter helped the Class 6 Bulldogs hold off Lamesa, 26-23.That lesson was how it still takes four good quarters instead of three to bring home a big road win.The Golden Tors were up by eight at the half and then by four at the end of the third quarter.The Bulldogs outscored Lamesa, 11-4, in the fourth quarter to pull off the win which was their first win of this season after getting thumped by Lubbock Coronado last Saturday in their season opener.“We felt ...
