A spot in the state playoffs will be on the line for the Lamesa High School boys basketball team this coming Friday evening. Lamesa will face Hereford in a “play-in” game scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday in Littlefield. The winner of that game will advance to the playoffs beginning next week. Basketball season will be over for the loser of that game. The game is the result of both teams finishing tied for fourth in the five-team District 3-4A.
