The Golden Tornadoes’ tennis squad is continuing to enjoy a good spring, finishing fifth in last weekend’s Texas Tennis Coaches Association’s regional team tournament at the Lubbock Tennis Center.“As well as our kids have been getting after it in their matches, shows how hard they’ve been working in practice,” Lamesa Coach Jose Lucio said.The Golden Tors opened the tournament by running into a buzz saw in Iowa Park, falling 10-2.
