Among the Fourth of July activities being planned here this coming Thursday through the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce are a couple of sporting events. For the third year in a row, a kickball tournament will be held as part of Lamesa’s Independence Day Celebration activities. “We’ve been passing out a bunch of roster sheets today,” Chamber President Sandra Adams said on Friday. Kechia Mason will be helping coordinate the holiday kickball tournament. Team rosters will be limited to 15 players. “There’s really no age limit. We’re talking family fun,” Adams said.
