Winning 29 ball games and making their first regional tournament in 20 years helped make the 2021- 2022 basketball season one of the best in school history for the Borden County girls.Unfortunately, BC senior Shelby Milhauser didn’t get a chance to play a big role in it.A knee injury sustained during practice the week before the season tipped off required major surgery which sidelined Milhouser for the entire season.Milhauser just recently got her doctor’s release to return to the Coyotes’ softball program.For all practical purposes, Milhauser had written off ever playing basketball again.But in what’s been a dream come true ...
