The Sands Mustangs swept their District 8A high school basketball doubleheader against the Dawson Dragons Tuesday night at Ackerly.After getting beat by Klondike last week, Sands’ girls slipped from fourth to seventh in this week’s Class 1A poll but the Mustangs didn’t look like a team on the decline Tuesday, blowing out the Dragons, 83-8.Sands was up 25-2 at the end of the first quarter and 51-2 at the half.Tuesday was the Mustangs’ Senior Night.
