The Sands Mustangs basketball girls moved up to fifth in this week’s Class 1A state rankings as they continue to play a brutal nondistrict schedule packed full of much bigger schools. The Mustang girls are now 5-1 on the year after coming home from Class 3A Crane with a 51-33 victory over on Tuesday. The score was tied at 16 at the end of the first quarter.
