In a game between two of the state’s top-ranked girls basketball teams on the opening night of the season, the Sands Mustangs fell 43-42 to Sudan on Tuesday.Sands’ girls are ranked ninth in the state in Class 1A while Sudan is 11th in Class 2A.“This one went down to the wire.
