Lamesa High School senior Bryan Quinteros Jr.is continuing to show his strength on the high school powerlifting circuit. Not only did Quinteros win his weight category last weekend at the Power Classic in Fort Stockton, he also captured the Best Lifter award at that meet. That award goes to the individual competitor who lifts the most total weight compared to his/her own body weight, according to Mario Gonzales, who coaches the LHS powerlifters along with Jimmy Tercero.
