Phillips taking aim at Olympics

When Borden County junior Ryann Phillips went to her first 4-H shooting contest some eight years ago she couldn’t have had any idea where it might lead Now Ryann is emerging as one of the top young shotgun shooters in the country. One of more than 1,000 competitors who took part in the recent San Antonio Stock Show Junior Shootout, Ryann won the Women’s Open Trap in Modified Shooting by hitting 97 out of 100 targets.
