Ogeda considers state playoffs an honor

As wild as it was even making it to the Class 4A baseball playoffs, the 1995 Golden Tornadoes made the most of the opportunity once they got there. At the end of the regular season the Tors were in a three-way tie for second in District 2-4A with Snyder and Lubbock Estacado. All three squads sported identical 7-3 league marks but by going 3-1 against the other two squads the Tors advanced to the 4A state playoffs as 2-4A’s runnersup behind league champion Frenship.
