Friday was a good day for O’Donnell High School’s girls and boys basketball teams.The Eagle girls had to overcome a somewhat sluggish start at Petersburg before winning their District 8-1A opener over the Buffaloes, 41-31.O’Donnell’s girls, now 9-6 overall, trailed 8-5 at the end of the first quarter.
