The O’Donnell Eagles finished their inaugural season on the high school softball diamond Friday afternoon at O’Donnell, falling just short of their celebrating their first win.The Eagles lost to the Petersburg Buffaloes in a 9-8 nail-biter.“Being the home team we had the last at-bat. We had bases loaded with two out,” O’Donnell Coach Ryan Grant said.“You’ve got to give Petersburg credit. They have a pretty good shortstop and second baseman.
