The Sands Mustangs breezed to their second straight girls’ basketball playoff win in four days Thursday evening at Slaton where they rolled past Spur, 80-28.Last year’s Class 1A girls’ state champs have now outscored their first two playoff opponents by a lopsided combined point margin of 166-52 after beating Morton, 86-24, Monday.“Defensively, we jumped on them pretty quick and they didn’t handle it very well at all.
