Golden Tornado junior Luke Martinez has been recognized as one of the best high school football players on the South Plains by being named as a first team defensive back on the Lubbock Avalanche Journal’s Lone Star Varsity Football Team.“Luke led the South Plains in interceptions with eight this past season.
