A couple of local young ladies recently stepped up to the plate on a national level at the FASA (Fastpitch American Softball Association) World Series at Branson, Missouri.Lamesa sixth grader Yanari Dominguez and Dawson fifth grader Angelina Esparza both play summer league softball for Midland’s Xtreme Mayhem, which just returned from that big 10-and-under tournament.“Our girls have never been to a tournament out of state until this summer.
