Lamesa Middle School athletes turned in a strong showing at Thursday’s District 3-3A West Zone Junior High Track Championships at Brownfield.Lamesa’s seventh grade girls rolled up 172 points for second place in the team standings. The Golden Tornado eighth graders finished in third place with 120 points.The Golden Tor eighth grade girls won both the 400 and 800-meter relays. Members of the 400-meter relay team were Jalissa Jimenez, Alyssa Dominguez, Melanie Benitez and Alizae Rosales.
