The Golden Tornadoes are sending two athletes to the state girls power lifting championships.Junior Paola Rodriguez and sophomore Naomi Marroquin punched their tickets to state with strong performances at last weekend’s regional championships in Shamrock.Rodriguez won her weight group and Marroquin finished second her in weight group. For Rodriguez, it’ll be a repeat trip to state after finishing second at last year’s regionals.The Golden Tors brought home three medals from the meet, with sophomore Jisell Ramirez finishing fifth in her weight class.
