Lamesa’s varsity girls basketball team lost its first two games in the Kristen Corbin Classic this past week. The Golden Tornadoes fell to Denver City, 56-33, in their opening game on Thursday afternoon. Lamesa led 16-12 after the first quarter but got outscored 17-10 in the second period.
