Thursday’s high school invitational golf tournament here at Plains Fairways is all ready to go, according to Golden Tornado golf Coach Jason Froman.The high on Tuesday was in the 50’s with not much wind.The tournament will feature divisions for both boys and girls. Play will tee off about 10 a.m.As of Tuesday afternoon the boys field was up to eight teams: Meadow, Kermit, Lubbock Monterey JV, Idalou. Lubbock Estacado, Shallowater, Brownfield and Lamesa.Shallowater, Meadow and Lamesa will have teams in the girls division. They will be joined by senior Lakyn Sandlin of Sands playing as an individual.
