The Golden Tornadoes’ high school cross country squad finished its season this past Wednesday by running in the District 3-3A Championships at Lubbock’s Mae Simmons Park. “All of these young people have put in countless hours preparing for this meet,” Lamesa Coach Rose Mary McCall said. “I’m pleased with the improvement each of these young people made during this season.” Freshman Zadrian Morales continued proving himself as somebody to watch in the years to come.
