The Golden Tornadoes are now less than two weeks away from running in the District 3-3A Cross Country Championships and Lamesa Coach Rose Mary McCall continues to like the strides she sees out of her runners.“The terrain on the course that we ran on last weekend in the Lubbock Invitational at Mae Simmons Park is challenging which will be beneficial as we make our final preparation for our district meet,” McCall said.“This meet was huge since it gave our young athletes an opportunity to compete on the course that they will run on in our district meet in two weeks.
