Both the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes and Borden County Coyotes enjoyed seasons to remember this spring on the softball diamond. Another honor to add to their lists is the fact that both finished the season ranked among the best in the state. After going as far in the playoffs as any Golden Tornado squad in history, Lamesa was tied for ninth in the final Class 3A state poll.
