Klondike’s High School’s boys basketball squad takes a two-game win streak into the Thanksgiving break. The Cougars are now 2-1 on the year after bringing home a big 79-36 victory from Lorenzo Monday night. Klondike jumped out to a 17-9 first quarter lead and then a 40-17 halftime edge. “Our guys ran the floor well tonight. We’re pretty fast and pretty quick,” Klondike Coach Chad Myers said. “There’s no telling how many fast-break points we had again tonight.” Sophomores Stephen Arismendez and Josh Arismendez led the Cougars with 20 points and 11 points respectively. “These guys love to play the game,” Myers said.
