Last week the Klondike Cougars kicked off the football season with a 50-0 blowout victory over Roby as part of the Garden City Shootout. Facting the always-tough Rankin Red Devils this coming Friday night at Klondike, Coach Dalton DeGraffenreid’s Cougars didn’t have long to celebrate. DeGraffenreid remembers last year’s 71-26 thumping at Rankin in a game which was stopped at the halftime on six-man’s 45-point mercy rule. “This ought to be another great test,” DeGraffenreid said.
