Lamesa’s junior high volleyballers made the trip back home from Friona Monday with wins in two of their four matches against the Chieftains.The Golden Tors lost the eighth grade A team match, 25-20, 26-24.“We had moments of playing good volleyball but too many unforced errors was too much to overcome,” Coach Liz Castro said. “We need to be mentally stronger throughout our entire match.”Lamesa’s eighth grade B team brought home a 15-25, 25-16 and 25-15 victory.“After a tough first set our girls came back fighting and wanted this win.
