Time and time again Borden County Coach Bobby Feaster has told about centerfielder Rayme Jones making some of the best defensive grabs that he’s seen in over 30 years of coaching high school softball Obviously Jones must have caught the attention of a lot more people than just her head coach’s. After playing a key role in helping lead the Coyotes’ back-to-back state tournament appearances, Jones was chosen to the Class 1A All-State Softball Tournament Team. The team is picked by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Jones hit a triple and also scored three runs in last week’s state semi-final game against Chireno.
