The Dawson Dragons continued their growing pains on the hardwoods Tuesday night at Whitharral. Dawson lost the boys game at Whitharral, 76-22. The Panthers were up 53-9 at the half. “We know we’re not completely there yet but at least we keep seeing baby steps out of our kids. We even saw our kids run the fast break a couple of times tonight,” Dawson Coach John Hodges said. “Defensively, our kids even got a couple of steals tonight.” Angel Ramirez had 15 points to lead the Dragons. Malaki Hilario had five and Jason Rodriguez had two. Dawson also lost Tuesday’s girls game to the Panthers.
