Shawn Hatchett’s team shot a 27 to win the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course’s weekly golf scramble Wednesday evening. Other golfers on the winning team were Brady Hatchett, Kelby Clinton and Kurt Taylor. This week’s closest-to-the-pin winners were Larry Whitman on hole number two at five feet six inches, and Clint Kunkel on hole number seven at 11 feet one inch. Lamesa Municipal Golf Course will be hosting the annual Lamesa Boys & Girls Club Golf Tournament next Saturday and Sunday. Registration fee for the fourperson scramble is $440 per team.
