The Golden Tornadoes’ cross country squad opened up its season last Saturday by running in Lubbock Christian University’s Rust Buster Meet.“This was a very good meet for our young athletes. Both our boys and girls ran better times than last year at this time,” Lamesa Coach Rose Mary McCall said. “The LCU course is challenging and was a good early test for our runners.”McCall sees this season opening meet as a ‘fun meet’ for her athletes.“They are paired up with a teammate.
