A couple of local sluggers helped the Midland’s Xtreme Mayhem take the FASA (Fastpitch America Softball Association) 12-and-under division World Series by surprise last week at Branson, Mo.Yanari Dominguez and Angelina Esparza played key roles on this youth girls softball team. The team started out this tournament by losing two out of their three pool play games to tie with the other team. They came back with a vengeance by winning its four bracket games to bring home the championship.
