Fresh off of a big road win at Grady earlier this week, Sands head girls basketball coach Ben Connell couldn’t help but wonder where his Mustangs’ mind-set might be going into Friday’s game against Garden City at Ackerly. A strong first quarter quickly silenced any doubt as the eighth-ranked Mustangs rolled to a 75-16 win. Sands jumped out to a 20-4 lead in the first quarter. “Our girls came out very focused.
