One of the biggest bright spots for the Golden Tornadoes’ cross country squad last Saturday in Big Spring’s Eric Stinson Invitational was Rico Enriquez.Enriquez finished 30th in the boys’ race which was held at Big Spring’s Comanche Trails State Park with a time of 20:32.“Rico ran a very good race on a very difficult course, Rico is a very talented young man who’s not afraid of hard work everyday,” Lamesa Coach Rose Mary McCall said.Lamesa’s Celest Cortez finished 26th among the girls with a time of 16:11.“Celest also ran a good race for us.
